I had an opportunity to sample Beech-Nut's new line of baby food "real food for babies". it is all natural and amazing. I'm not going to lie, I personally tasted it and I am not ashamed to say it was delicious. I mean c'mon if I plan to make my baby eat it I should be okay to try it. That being said I love their new catch phrase:
" Because everybody deserves real food. Especially babies."

With my first child I wanted to make healthy choices but i wasn't too informed and therefore concerned with what other items were in her food. When I saw a jar of peas I assumed she was just eating peas. Not to say we no longer eat processed food I try to be more aware of it and make a more informed decision as to weather or not I am comfortable putting that on our plates. With a new baby I firmly believe healthy eating habits start once they try solid foods. With this philosophy in mind I want to make sure I give my baby every opportunity to taste healthy options with minimal to no added chemicals. Beech-Nut gives us this option. Max was 4 months old when he tried his first sampling. This was the first real introduction of solid foods and he enjoyed every minute of it. Now at one year old he still enjoys the fruit and veggie mixes and we still have a few on hand and have moved on to their on the go pouches and more "table" foods. We have yet encountered a "yucky" food.
The packaging is very appealing, and they use glass jars which is I personally prefer (mostly because I can re-purpose it for a craft, jam or something), but the peace of mind that it is BPA free is major plus. Their new Gentle Cooking™ method allows for sealing in nutrients sometimes lost in traditional boiling methods. I am a very happy mom with this new line and for only $1.09 (SRP) totally affordable.
